The Tīrau summer pools are located at Goodwin Street reserve, adjacent to the Tīrau Playcentre and Primary School. Built in 1980, the complex contains a 25 x 12 meter outdoor pool and a toddlers pool which was rebuilt in 2009/10. There are shaded spectator bleachers, grassed areas and changing rooms. The complex was fitted with pool covers during the 1999/2000 season.
